Josie Davis

Josie Davis was born in Hollywood, California. She is an actress as well as a writer. Davis began her acting profession as a kid actor in TV commercials. In her early years Davis became a regular in the show Charles In Charge. It was the top-rated show on syndication. Josie received three nominations for the most prestigious Youth In FIlm Award, that she was awarded for her role as Sarah Powell. Davis, as an adult who has starred in numerous TV movies and won Lifetime Movie Network two awards for his performance. Davis trained with Paul E Richards intensively for over twenty years, despite the fact that she could have entered USC's prestigious Writing Program. Davis was twenty-four when she took an audition to become a part of the Hollywood elite group, Shelley Winters Mark Rydell Martin Landau. After only one audition Davis was accepted into the famed Actors Studio as a member with working privileges, then became a Lifetime member after only her phone call. More than a thousand auditioned, making Davis only one of two performers accepted during the same year.
